LPSNDR Sub-District 4

LeRoy is a long time resident of Lincoln, having grown up in Blair, NE & graduating from Doane College (BA Math). He served 3 years in the US Army (2 Years in the White House), then worked in Washington DC as a programmer/analyst and earned an MS. He returned to Nebraska in 1975 and graduated from UNL Law School in 1977.

While in the Attorney General's Office LeRoy worked on interstate litigation dealing with water issues on the Missouri and Platte Rivers. Later in state agencies he continued to work on a variety of water and natural resource related issues including flood mitigation efforts. He was a co-presenter across the state in programs to flood plain administrators. His experience in this area can help him appreciate the challenges facing the flood protection efforts and the strategies that may be successful.

LeRoy's lengthy experience in water and natural resources issues in Nebraska as well as decades of service on various boards gives LeRoy a unique set of skills to address the needs of the LPS NRD.

Having served on numerous boards developing policy guidance for management to implement, gives LeRoy insight in how to effectively work with others to focus on priorities so that they can be accomplished.

LeRoy is a proven leader, with experience and insight on how to get things done.

Lower Platte South NRD

LeRoy is a candidate for Sub-District 4. Sub-district 4 is the most populated sub-district in the Lower Platte South LPSNDR which covers parts of southeast Lincoln, Roca, Hickman, Martell, Sprague, Hallam, and surrounding areas. To find out your district, visit the LPSNDR interactive map here.
